  • What information do I need to provide (or discuss) when I order a Photomultiplier Housing system?

    1. Your detector type and model number
    2. Whether you need a cooled or an ambient housing
    3. Your options or accessories requirements. For example:
      - Pyrex, quartz, or optical window types (Option #1 or #2 - cooled systems only) This will depend on your wavelength or wavelength range
      - Manual or electronic shutter (PR302, PR305, PR318, PR310)
      - Option #36 - Digital, microprocessor-based temperature controller (cooled systems only)
      - Signal or high voltage cables
      - PR600 - Liquid recirculator (cooled systems only)
      - Single filter holder or filter wheel (PR307, PR308, PR300, PR304)
      - Adapter plate for attaching to a monochromater, spectrometer, reaction chamber, etc.

  • What do Photomultiplier Housing systems include?
Cooled PMT Housing systems include a chamber, its associated power supply, a double-paned evacuated Plexiglass window cell, standard front mounting adapter, and a socket assembly with voltage divider for your specific detector. Additional options and accessories may be necessary (e.g. high voltage cables, signal cables, etc.)

Ambient PMT Housing systems include a housing and a socket assembly with voltage divider for your specific detector. Again, additional options and accessories may be necessary (e.g. high voltage cables, signal cables, etc.)
